Complementary research and demonstrations are being carried out in the EIG EURIDICE demonstration hall. In this way part of a disposal tube has been reconstructed to test the equipment in and around the disposal tube and specific facets of the disposal concept, to draw lessons from it for the underground part of the work at a later stage. An exhibition has been built around the real experiments and tests in order to offer the general public accessible information about the activities of EIG EURIDICE and the research and development work now underway.

Soil samples, taken over numerous years during about a dozen depth borings, are also on display in the demonstration hall. These soil samples are a vital aid for studying the Clay layer in Boom.

In addition to the demonstration hall, the ventilation building, which made it possible to operate the extended underground infrastructure, also holds a prominent position at the EIG EURIDICE site. A number of logistical buildings are located on the north side of the ventilation building, and more specifically the EIG EURIDICE offices.
