Whereas the tests described in the previous paragraph aim to demonstrate the feasibility of constructing specific parts of the EBS, this test considers the EBS as a whole and verifies possible interactions (thermal, chemical, mechanical,…) between different components. This can be done in surface facilities by installing a mock-up of the EBS. The design and duration of the test will be discussed in detail with ONDRAF/NIRAS
